My site appears to have version 2.5 of StartupPro (presumably that means 2.5.0), and the files are dated 2014. The startupwp.com website lists versions up to 2.5.3, but in my site’s Updates page says, “Your themes are all up to date.” Why does WordPress not know that there is a newer version? And how do I update? Surely I don’t have to remember to go to your website periodically, check the changelog, and download and install fresh copies of the theme – that would not be very WordPress-like, and the non-programmers doing the day-to-day maintenance of the content aren’t going to do that.

    Of course. We definitely agree.

What happened is that the service we previously used for automatic updates, unfortunately shut down, creating a break in auto-updates, requiring you to manually upgrade to the latest version:

    Thank you.
