1. You’ll first need to create two pages from under Pages in you WP admin. One page for your new frontpage (“Home” for example) and one page for your new posts page (“Blog” for example).
2. Now, under Settings > Reading you can set your newly created pages as the static frontpage and posts page.
3. You should now create a custom menu from under Appearance > Menus to display these new pages properly.
