The grid widget area will respect the ordering, it’s just that if each widget is inconsistent in size with the others they could float/stack strangely. This can be resolved with some custom CSS, but since you don’t have a live example could be difficult to test.

See what you mean. Looks like you’re essentially looking for a 3 sidebar template so each column can be controlled separately.

And also, you might try working with boxes to see if you might manually be able to set something up:
With boxes i couldnt manage adding widgets to the coloumns.
Added a suggestion called “Another grid template”
I even tried a plugin called “amr shortcode any widget” which perfectly works on any page, but not within the boxes. Is there any workaround i could use widgets in these boxes?
