The author page in the theme seems to be broken. It shows “$authordata->display_name” on the author page instead of the actual value of the variable. The problem is also with the “$authordata->user_url” property. The problem seems to be in the theme code on line 4 of author.php and I suspect so because my syntax highlighter doesn’t shade the variable in the color that it shades variables that work. I tried playing around with changing double quotes to single quotes and vice versa (as it seemed to fix the highlighting) but only managed to break the theme entirely.
October 7, 2013 at 2:20 PM #1167Have you otherwise been hacking the theme code, perhaps child theming?
Are you using any author plugins?
Is everything up-to-date?
Link to your site please.
October 7, 2013 at 11:14 PM #1170I haven’t touched the main theme code in any permanent way but I am using a child theme. I haven’t overridden author.php, though. I have translated part of the theme with Poedit, but I’m pretty sure that shouldn’t have an effect on this in any way, unless there’s a major error in the code.
I’m not using any author plugins.
My theme version is 1.1.4 and WordPress hasn’t suggested an update for it so I think it’s the latest one. I’m using WordPress version 3.6 and I haven’t updated it to 3.6.1 yet because this is a production site and all my plugins haven’t promised 100% compatibility yet.

October 8, 2013 at 12:09 PM #1172Okay, this is a confirmed bug, we can see it in the demo even:

Hold tight, we’ll push an update by tonight or tomorrow.
Thanks
