StartupWP
Keymaster1. In FileZilla, instead of left-clicking on the startuppro folder, right-click on it and choose “Download”.
2. The changelog is referring to a specific time/event/version. The general upgrade instructions are still good, especially since you’re making a backup first, you should be good to just upload the new folder right over the old one.

ParticipantWhen I right-click on the startuppro folder in FileZilla, download is not an option. It’s greyed out.

ParticipantWas finally able to download startuppro folder from server to backup the files, but still cannot get version 2.0 up and running. I unzipped the original folder, opened the startuppro2.0 folder and uploaded the startuppro.zip file via FileZilla to themes folder on server. No joy.
Tried to then go through the steps given by navigating to appearance -> themes -> upload -> selected the startuppro.zip file within the unzipped package and got this message:
Installing Theme from uploaded file: startuppro.zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
Destination folder already exists. /var/www/html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/startuppro/
Theme install failed.
My site still has 1.1.6 installed. Please help ASAP as this is a business site!
Thanks :)

KeymasterVery close, just missed one step.
Make sure to unzip startuppro.zip first and upload the /startuppro/ folder over the old one in the /themes/ folder. You should get a prompt asking if you want to overwrite and click yes.

ParticipantIt’s. Not. Working. I took the original zip file and unzipped it to get the StartupPro2.0 package. I then opened that and tried uploading the StartupPro.zip file via FileZilla to the WP themes folder as well as through the WP admin site. Deleted the uploaded .zip file from FileZilla, unzipped that zip file to get StartupPro2.0 folder, and tried transferring that to the themes folder. It placed it within the original StartupPro folder without any prompt about overwriting. Just a folder within a folder now. Tried uploading again via WP admin and continue to get the same message:
Installing Theme from uploaded file: startuppro.zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
Destination folder already exists. /var/www/html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/startuppro/
Theme install failed.
What am I missing?

KeymasterPossibly you’re still just installing an older version?
Re-download from your download link and double-check that it really is the latest version.
